Low & Lean
Dragger Seats give unmatched style and fit

Dragger Custom Seats was born out of a desire to build a solo seat that preserved the smooth flowing lines of the Road Star while placing the rider in a seating position that's as low as possible. The result is an old school seat that leaves all of the surrounding frame exposed. Rather than try and hide the super-structure under a bulky seat, the Dragger solo seat molds perfectly around the seating cavity creating a sleek look that can be achieved no other way.

Dragger Seat News

The life, it changes 8/11/08
Due to some recent life changes (a new job in addition to school) my seat business is being forced onto the back burner. I'm finding I don't have enough time in the day to be a daddy (soon to be to TWO little ones!), a husband, an employee, a student AND a seat builder guy.

All that is simply to say that though I don't intend to "quit," I will be needing to cut back. Seeing as the nature of school and my new job lend themselves to a schedule the ebbs and flows I will work on my seat business during the slow times. The problem here is I can't predict in advance when those times will be.

So here's how I've decided to go about this: I will maintain a production list but will accept no money until I have a seat ready to get covered. I will build seats as the time becomes available. When I get a seat near completion I will contact the next person on the production list. If that individual is still interested, great, if not, I'll move on to the next person. In the interest of maintaining my sanity and not wanting to make promises I can't keep, I've decided not to give time-lines. If you want to be on the list I'll give you a cost estimate, answer any questions and let you know how many folks are in line in front of you. From then on it's a waiting game. You can feel free to bug me any time just to see how things are going. If the thought of this drives you nuts I wouldn't even bother contacting me. I'm simply in no position to try and "get one out quick."

I realize this isn't the best way to grow a business, but I suppose that's not really an issue for me. Rather, I just enjoy the work and want to keep doing it as long as there's still some way I can keep at it.

So in the interest of being upfront, that's where I'm at these days. If you are still interested, give me a shout and I'll let you know where I'm at!

Thanks!

Dragger Seats 2.0 1/14/08
Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the second generation Dragger Solo Seat! Now I know this may not seem like a big deal to the average user, but from my end this is HUGE! I began the process with a desire to open up a bit of space behind the seat so that the tool kit (or whatever knick knacks you may have) could be still be stowed in conjunction with my seats. To achieve this I had to build a new prototype and mold from the ground up. No small task I'd hasten to add!

The result is basically the same seat we have all come to know and love, but with the added functionality of a bit of stowing space. Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too?
